Congratulations Alyn!

Alyn Ware the Global Coordinator of the Parlamentary Network for Nuclear Disarmament, New Zealand has won the Right Livelihood Award, called the Alternative Nobel Prize. "...for his effective and creative advocacy and initiatives over two decades to further peace education and to rid the world of nuclear weapons." BANg is congratulating Alyn and we are also saying thank you for your support in the last years, for explaining to us how nuclear abolition can work!

The 2009 Laureates have just been announced. The Awards go to
David Suzuki (Canada, Honorary Award)
René Ngongo (Democratic Republic of Congo)
Alyn Ware (New Zealand)
Catherine Hamlin (Ethiopia)
