"Genie in a bottle" and Postcards

The DVD features the short movie "Genie in a Bottle - Unleashed" two 13 year old boys from Chicago, with subtitles in several languages (French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Russian, Croatian, Swedish) as well as an Italian synchronisation. It also contains many more films & materials and is available from June 2007

In their movie, the young filmmakers Stephen and Trace look at the story of how the Manhattan Project prepared for the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings 61 years ago. Also, the DVD contains the short movie of the French Campaign "non au missile 51", the youth speech at the NPT Review Conference of 2005, a photo gallery with action examples with the song "Teach the Youths" by Mystic Roots Band, and the inspirational short movie "hope" by Lunamedia. There are also lots of written materials, like action ideas, information on nuclear weapons etc., available on the DVD. Around 100 people & NGOs have contributed to this first media project of BANg, by translation work, articles and other items, technical & financial support etc. Big thanks goes out to all of them!! The DVD has been presented for the first time at the NPT PrepCom in Vienna on 4th May 2007. Itīs be available (for a donation between 6-12 Euros) now!
