My cup of Tea in Bretten

The recently born „BANg Bretten"-group decided to take matters into its own hands. As we wanted to transfer the actions of BANg Europe to the local level, we decided to do a „My Cup of Tea"-action in the pedestrian area of Bretten. So after the preparations on November 4th, on which we were able to make some posters for the action and gained some new members, the action itself took place on November 15th. The whole activity proceeded in the frame of the so-called „Friedenstage" in Bretten, in which every year a bunch of actions happen with the aim of involving and informing the inhabitants of Bretten in the peace-making process. We reached this aim through talking directly to the people walking in the pedestrian zone, offering some tea and getting into discussion. Though we were being frostbitten, the whole activity can be seen as having been very successful, and will therefore surely not be the last action BANg Bretten goes in for.
